THE COVENTRY PARADE 2023
The 68th Coventry Parade was again held at Coombe Abbey Country Park this August. Over 30 motorcycles assembled on the field to be sent on their way along the scenic lanes of Warwickshire and neighbouring Counties.
The motorcycles were parked up on their return for the judging to take place while the riders had the opportunity to have a bite to eat. Luckily the rain had stayed away during the ride but it threatened for much of the day.
The oldest motorcycle was Mike’s 1912 Bradbury 4HP, in fact the only veteran machine this year.
More vintage machines were on show, including Chairman David’s 1927 Triumph Ricardo 500cc.
The largest group by far were the post vintage machines which included a 1932 Morgan Delivery Van 1100cc in a striking blue colour.
Once again, some beautiful motorcycles on show this year and our thanks go to Geoff Booth (and his family) and Robert Thomas for organising this event on behalf of the Warwickshire Section.
